Love, love this place! The staff & food were excellent. Tried this place because I was invited to a paint & sip. The theme was Selena. Such a fun time! Dancing, drinking, & karaoke! Don’t miss out on there events!

I ordered this place with kind of low expectations, basing that off kind of the other local restaurants. However, this was great. With every new thing I tried, I liked it more and more. The nachos are great. Everywhere else overcharges on things like guac and sour cream, they load them up here. Even use a cheese sauce.

Visiting from Texas! We enjoyed the food, it had great flavor and good spice. Cucumber drink was delicious . We will visit again when back in California! Wall art is beautiful!

First time here at this restaurant. We were seared right away as it was 3:25 pm. We ordered a steak and al pastor and a bowl of menudo. Sebastian was kind enough to explain their menu and was very accommodating and suggested what to order. I thank management for having an employee like Sebastian

If you’re looking for authentic flavor in Downey, Tacos Don Chente is a must-visit. I recently stopped in and tried the carne asada fries and a horchata, and I was seriously impressed. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into every meal here. The food is made fresh to order! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the steak was seasoned beautifully. To top it off, the horchata was refreshing. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is quick and attentive. It’s rare to find a spot that balances great food with such genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back.
